Dear North Carolina Coaches and Judges,

I have been pondering the perfect words to tell you how much the

"Coach of the Year" award has meant to me. However, I cannot find

them so I will just send you a few words from my heart. Thank you,

thank you, thank you!!! You will never know how much you have touched

me with this honor. I enjoy my job so much, and I love being a part

of this wonderful family that we have in North Carolina Gymnastics.

But to be told that other people enjoy me being apart of the family is

just amazing! I have grown from a young first year coach to, what

feels like more somedays then other, an older and more experienced

coach, and it all happened from the guidance and wisdom of all of you

in North Carolina. I hope that I can help younger coaches love this

profession as much as so many of you have helped me to do. I tell my

girls all the time to find a job that they love and that makes them

want to get out of bed and go to work. And I was lucky enough to find

that in gymnastics. My girls, their parents and all of you have made

this the best job and I thank all of you for that.
