Please be reminded that USA Gymnastics has initiated a new dress policy for State Meets and above in 2008-09.  It is written on page 11 of the 08-09 Rules and Policies.  Being aware that some of you may not have received your R & P, this is how it is stated: D. Be professional

•     Display good sportsmanship

•     Dress in appropriate attire that reflects the best image of gymnastics. 

At State Meets and above, the coaches' attire is as follows:

• Closed athletic shores

• Athletic warm-up pants or "Docker-style" pants (No jeans).

• Athletic or tailored shorts that are of a reasonable length (7" inseam).

• No holes, tears, or short shorts.

• Collared shirts, business casual shirts, or T-shirts with gym logo (No spaghetti straps , low-cut tops, or midriff revealing shirts)

• No hats of visors

• Be mentally and physically prepared and rested in order to provide the safest environment for te gymnast.

• Turn off cell phone (or set to vibrate mode) while in the "field of play" to avoid disturbing the competition.

 If you get a chance to read over the whole section, p. 11 - 12, it might not be a bad idea for all of us to review.
