Discussion about Prep
Opt Rules – Much discussion was given to the suggestion to allowing the
cast squat on jump off the low bar as a dismount to the rookie levels.
The following motion was given after much discussion…
We understand that the
confusion the new rules have caused, however, the board has been very
careful in composing the rules for the season and they will remain as
written until May of 2008.

Clarifications that
were discussed:…
-
Any cast (with hips
returning to the bar) preceded or followed by any other skill is a
separate skill. Example – front hip circle, cast, cast, back hip
circle is 4 skills. Any other cast will be considered an extra swing.
