NC AWARDS RECOMMENDATIONS:

USA Gymnastics provides minimum guidelines for presenting individual awards in the annual Rules and Policies Handbook, usually in the Section titled Jr. Olympic Awards.

North Carolina augments the suggested number of awards at State Meets by presenting medals and plaques only, extending awards to about one-half of the gymnasts in each age group.  Age groups are encouraged to be set at a maximum of 30 gymnasts for each age group, but encourage less than 30 gymnasts. (3-16-05)
