Notice that no date has been set for any of
the Prep State Meets.
·
The weekend(s) to be used will either be the week of
March 18th and/or April 1st.
·
Because the Board has not voted on the format for
our 2011 Prep rules (adopt whatever the Region presents or stay
with North Carolina’s) it was decided that picking one or two
state meet dates would be putting the cart before the horse.
·
The NC Board is also considering putting all Prep
levels in one State Meet on one weekend.
·
The Regional Board will have a better understanding
for the Regional format after the May 21st weekend.
Its final vote will be taken at Regional Congress in Atlanta, June
15th.

Declaration dates for gymnast’s competitive level will be on the
last qualifying date for each level.
A
gymnast may ‘tinker’ with competing between two consecutive levels
during the season, but must have qualified for the state meet that
she wishes to enter by the last qualifying date. May qualify for
Level 5, try a meet or two at Level 6, but decides she wants to go
to Level 5 State Meet. She must re-qualify for the Level 5 by the
declaration date.
Please print out either the ms word or pdf file and send back to
